Music at St. Eithne's

Year 1

Nativities in Primary 1 Classes.

From our first year the Primary 1 classes staged a little nativity for parents at Christmas. This has become a tradition. There was a small Christmas sing song given by the Primary 4 children. However, the hall was not completed so the service was held in the Foyer. I have not been able to trace any photos of this but shall keep searching. We do have a little video.

Not only did Primary one classes hold a little Nativity but all the year 1, 2, 3 & 4 children were invoolved in a christmnas show of some sort.

This was the year of our official opening. The choir sang for Bishop Hegarty, Minister of Education Martin Mc Guinness, Donal O Callaghan(CCMS), Joe Martin (WELB ) and a hall full of guests invited to the special occasion. The choir was directed by Mr. N. Gormley and Miss P. Dunne.
