What a busy person! Mrs Brady starts her job at 8:30 am and then comes to an end back home at 4:45 pm. Her favourite bit is chatting to the children in the morning time. The Foggy Dog

Hannah (P.5)

This is a picture of my dog,
Trying to get home through the fog.
He is hungry for his tea;
He just can’t wait to play with me.
Listen, you can always hear his bark,
Whether it's light or whether it's dark.
If you have Flash Player you should see Hannah drag her foggy dog above.

Homework should be banned by Lauren (P.6)

Children should not be given homework for many different reasons. It causes problems and stress. Some children might not know how to do it. You ask. Your parents don't know but they think you should. It can cause arguments when your parents are busy and you can't find someone to help you.

You are too tired after being at school for six hours and your brain is dizzy. It is too much work to do and you don't have much time to rest.

It is very unhealthy for children to do. It is well known that children are not as fit as they should be. Homework means sitting in the house all day doing work when they should be outside being active and healthy.

It is very difficult to find peace and quiet if you have a younger brother or sister. They could disturb and make noises or if you have a pet it could jump up and make you do mistakes. Sometimes this happens constantly.

Try and argue with that!

Zara's Mum Again!

When Zara was in Mrs Devlin's class back in Primary 2 she drew a lovely picture of her mum shopping at Next. So after 3 years Zara's style has obviously matured and still shows mum shopping. Her little poem above tells us everything we need to know about mum.

A DINOSAUR’S TALE

Once upon a time a group of Irish tourists flew to America to see the new dinosaur museum.
A man named Emmet H. went up to the tyrannosaurus – rex  exhibition to try and get a scary and amazing shot of the animal when it ,suddenly came alive. The frightening, but amazing beast was so hungry after all these centuries he accidentally ate Emmet. His blood went everywhere. All the screams of the tourists confused the hungry dinosaur. Emmet’s wife called the cops to kill the dinosaur.
The dinosaur heard the police cars’ sirens
and they scared him. So he jumped out the window and tried to outrun the police cars. The dinosaur did not know his way round New York and because of that he ran into a dead end. He was surrounded by cops and police cars. A police man shot the dinosaur with a tranquillizing dart and the dinosaur shouted in pain.
A hippie called Holly stepped in front of the dinosaur and said, “Don’t kill this wonderful creature!
Bring it to a zoo but make sure it has good living conditions.” So the T-rex went to a zoo and had good living conditions and ate cows, sheep and other animals.
Holly was given a gold medal for her heroics despite being jailed for six years for interrupting a New York City police department operation to capture and kill the animal.
