The year groups are split into 3 different sections as in any primary school.
Foundation Stage (P.1 & 2)
Key Stage 1 (P.3 & 4)
Key Stage 2 (P.5 to 7)
Each group has its own distinctive character and thus teaching and Learning strategies differ in many ways. For example whilst all children need nurtured the very young need a lot more guidance and actual basic foundation teaching. At the Key Stage 2 level children will have become much more independent and by this stage are taking a major role in using self-learning techniques with the assistence and guidance of the teacher.
