Anti Bullying Week

1st Dec 2021

Last week our Primary 7 classes celebrated Anti-Bullying Week 2021. We explored a variety of different themes during our lessons and recalled how all of our words and actions can have a postitive or negative effect on ourselves and others.

Our Primary 7 classes explored kindness and designed posters to reflect different ways in which we could show kindness to each other, both at school and at home. We also explored clips from Matilda the movie and completed character and personality trait studies of Miss Trunchbull and Miss Honey.

We compared different aspects of their behaviours and reflected on how Miss Honey showed a very nurturing approach, whilst Miss Trunchbull exhibitied bullying type behaviours. We spent time reflecting how both characters made others in their company feel and made connections to our own lives and similiar situations.

Take a look at our wonderful work!
