The children of Primary Five had some very special guests today. We had the joy of welcoming two local beekeepers, Emma and Thomas and about 3000 buzzing little friends!
Bringing a working beehive to the school was not only fascinating but also deeply educational. The children were absolutely captivated by the chance to see bees up close and learn about their vital role in our ecosystem. Tasting the different types of honey was a sweet and memorable treat that sparked curiosity and joy for every child.
Thank you Emma and Thomas for your passion for beekeeping and your generosity in sharing your time and knowledge. It made a lasting impression. Thank you for helping our students connect with nature in such a meaningful and delicious way.
