On Monday 27th February, our Primary 5 children were very lucky to escape from school for the day to visit the Guildhall, Tower Museum and the Derry Walls. We even had a sneaky lunch in McDonald's! The children have been working hard this term learning about our local area and history and were so lucky to be invited to visit the Guildhall by the mayor herself! We had a wonderful day out, and many of our children have been inspired to become the next mayor!
