A huge thank‑you to the fantastic staff at the Ulster American Folk Park for inviting us to today’s launch of their new exhibition inspired by the novel “Under the Hawthorn Tree”.
Our children had the incredible opportunity to meet the author, Marita Conlon‑McKenna, who spoke so beautifully about the inspiration behind her story and took the time to answer every question the children had. She even read a chapter aloud, which made the moment feel truly magical.
The exhibition itself brings the book to life in the most vivid and engaging way — a fabulous experience that the children will remember for a long time.
