World Book Day has inspired some brilliant learning in Mrs Miller’s Primary 7 classroom. The children have been exploring the themes in our class novel, Under the Hawthorn Tree, and searching for evidence to help them create a sensory snapshot of what the characters might have seen, heard and felt in the Soup Kitchen. Their empathy and creativity really shone through. We can’t wait to read on together.
